W+K Tokyo

Street art for Tohoku

The artist Naomi Kazama visited us at W+K Tokyo to deliver something very special. Naomi just launched a charity project for the people affected by the disaster in Tohoku titled “YES People.” Each of his silk posters is handmade, and the profits will be donated to people in the Tohoku region. Naomi, also known as SOUTH has been heavily involved with experimental street art since the 90’s. He established a legendary art space in Nakameguro, Tokyo called “DYEZU EXPERIMENT” and contributed a great deal to the understanding of street art here in Japan. We are moved by his “YES People” project and have posted his art work in our front entrance. W+K Tokyo continue to hope that the light of hope will reach the people in Tohoku as soon as possible. For more information, please visit SOUTH’s website here.

Naomi氏 a.k.a.
