Although Google search can be used on mobile phones, not many people in Japan know it provides the same search quality as using Google search on a PC.

To deepen understanding of how useful mobile search can be, we created a “mobile girl” character who is able to extract herself from tricky situations through the use of Google’s mobile search. The campaign included educational videos run online and on trains, train posters and mobile and PC banners. Mobile Girl also appeared on Twitter and Gree (a major mobile SNS site) as a virtual navigator of Google Mobile search.
